Walking Wednesday's

After half term we are really excited that Bernard from the living streets Blackpool team will be coming into the children's centre and organising some short 40 minute walks, everyone is welcome to join in its a great way to meet others and get fit too. Bernard provides free pedometers to track your steps and afterwards you can enjoy a tea or coffee in the cafe area. 

Pancake Day!! 9/2/2016

Becky made us pancakes to try at snack time. We all watched as she tossed the pancake up in the air.

We were all happy that she caught it again in the pan.

Hope everyone enjoyed their pancakes at home.

Messy Mark Making!

The children had so much fun using the shaving foam from the "car wash" tray to explore with it on the window. 

Wezley enjoyed using both hands in circular motions to make marks on the window. He kept going back to the tray to collect more foam on his hands. 

Darcy and Missy used small hand brushes on the window watching the marks they made. Darcy moved the brush in a circular motion and Missy said she was busy cleaning the window. 

Daniel really enjoyed exploring the foam, he decided to use a paintbrush to collect a small amount of foam before " painting " on the Window :) 

Thames Car Wash! 1/2/16

The children had lots of fun exploring & playing at the Car Wash activity.

"This looks very exciting" Jacob said as he watched it being set up.

Lio used the toothbrush to wash the car with the shaving foam.

Chloe enjoyed exploring the shaving foam with her hands & getting very messy.

Kailee used the hand brush & dipped it in the shaving foam before cleaning her vehicle with it.

Summer used the hand brush to clean her car.

Ellie cleaned her vehicle with the toothbrush & shaving foam.

"Look Louise it's on my fingers" Noah said.

Alicia dipped the toothbrush into the water before cleaning her car.
