Children in Need. Superhero Day!!!!

The children had lots of fun showing off their costumes & having their pictures taken.

   Louise, Logan, Eva, Tayla & Maisie.

   Jowita, Grace, Jessica, Elliott, Mark & Amelia.

    Hayley's Yellow Group

    Hayley, Nathan, Sienna, Lewis & Alfie.

Miss Polly had a Dolly

The children enjoyed using the pens to make marks & colour in the picture of Miss Polly & her Dolly.

Hickory Dickory Dock The Mouse Ran Up The Clock........

William made a watch with Hayley. They spoke about what we use watches & clocks for.

He enjoyed wearing his watch the rest of the day & referring to it to predict the time.

Nathan made marks on his watch.

He was very happy when Hayley put it on his wrist.

He used his watch throughout the day when playing saying "it's time for work"

A group of children went to Tesco with Hayley the previous day to buy cheese so they could try it at snack time knowing that mice eat cheese.

Deacon tried the cheese & crackers & ate it all.

William ate the cracker but when trying the cheese said "I don't like it"

1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive.......

Elliott enjoyed decorating his fish using collage materials & paint.

He later got excited when he noticed the fish on the inset jigsaw "look fish" he shouted.

Jacob used the corks to print the paint onto his fish.

He the used a duplo brick to make different red patterns on his fish.

Amelia painted her fish using corks, a duplo brick & her finger.

She dipped them in the paint first then made the marks on her paper.

She had so much fun that she wanted to make two pictures.

Wareesha dipped the corks & duplo brick in the paint to make her fish more colourful.

Incy Wincy Spider

The children enjoyed creating their own Spiders by making circular marks in the blue sand then adding on legs & eyes. They tried to copy Louise's spider she made first to show them.

    William used his finger to make circular marks in the sand.

He adds on some legs & eyes saying "look at my spider"

Evelyn makes a big circle to make her spider.

She make lines to represent the legs & makes small marks for it's eyes.

Dylan enjoys exploring the sand with his fingers making different marks.

Isaac makes different marks in the sand using his finger.

The children enjoyed making a spider using black play dough, spaghetti & lollipop sticks for the legs & googly eyes.

Maisie adds 2eyes onto the play dough & then breaks up the spaghetti to put on for the legs.

Brooke enjoys giving her spider lots of eyes & legs.

Jasmine puts on 2eyes then uses another eye saying "that's it's nose"

Jasmine & Evelyn use the spider finger puppets & the Incy Wincy Spider books to sing 

the nursery rhyme.

Evelyn holds the two spider puppets up saying "they are both friends"

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!!

Children enjoyed singing Twinkle Twinkle with Jowita. The children looked at the different stars talking about how they look & feel. They counted how many stars there were before the children closed their eyes & Jowita hid the stars around the room.

The children were then able to find the stars around the room.

                       This was great fun!

     Summer explored the glitter using the scoops.

 She then used the pencils to make marks on the star picture.
