Exploring the shaving foam

Some of our children have been exploring the shaving foam this week in the garden.
Summer initially used the car to make marks in the shaving foam pushing it back and forth and side to side. Summer then took her shoes off and with some encouragement stepped in! It was very slippery and summer kept saying 'whoa' whilst smiling, although she soon got the hang of it and was moving around the tray quickly. Summer stepped out of the tray and walked about on the floor looking behind her at the marks she was making. Summer then used her hands to make marks on paper which she enjoyed showing to Louise.

Water play

Isla and Corey have independently explored the water today in the garden.
Isla used wellie's to splash in the tray filled with water making Becky very wet! Isla emptied her wellie as it had filled with water 'its dirty' she comments as she tips the brown water out. Isla then jumped in the water with bare feet and splashed with her hands 'its warm' she comments when she is asked how the water feels.

Corey quickly took his shoes and socks off running and jumping into the water tray! 'SPLASH' he shouts laughing. Corey spends lots of time splashing and kicking the water around the tray.
Corey seems to have lots of fun then transporting the water around the garden in a bucket. He especially enjoys tipping his full bucket of water off the top of the climbing frame and watching it drip off!
