Physical Activity session

We went along to the school hall to do some physical activities, we had so much fun exploring with different ways to move around and using all the equipment. 

Hollie enjoyed climbing up the soft play steps and coming down backwards on her knees 😃

Blake enjoyed stepping over the miniature hurdles, well done Blake ! 

Missy and Cole pretended the climbing frame was a tunnel and rode their tricycles under neath, great use of imagination from the children 👍

Lacey showed confidence in climbing on the A frame, when she got to the top she held Hayley's hands and jumped off, Well done Lacey 😀

Amelia really enjoyed rolling around in circles, she must have been dizzy afterwards !

 All the children really enjoyed using the soft play, some children even jumped off the top of the steps, we had so much fun 😊

Better start Launch creative session

 

Some of the children enjoyed attending the creative session in the children's centre. 

Crystal enjoyed using the paints to paint the paper flowers. 

We talked about which colours we were using.

                

Kayden explored the paints, he selected blue and green to paint his 

Flower and he enjoyed washing his brush in the water when he had finished.

Ellie enjoyed colouring a picture, she took time to select the colours she needed

She said she had drawn a "pirate"  

Children in Need 13/11/2015

The children enjoyed coming to nursery dressed up for Children in Need.

Some children had their face or their hand painted too.

Nursery Rhyme Week

As part of Nursery Rhyme Week the children enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities as well as learning the nursery rhymes.

Tuesday-Ring-o-ring-o-roses 

The children joined in holding hands with their friends & singing the rhyme when playing in the garden.

The children joined in during Letters & Sounds holding hands & singing the rhyme.

Wednesday-1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive

Daniel & Jack matched the numbered & coloured fish to the ones on the table.

Crystal & Corey found different numbers & with support from Hayley they found the fish with the same amount of spots.

They also used the numicon to match the quantity of spots to the fish.

Thursday-Horsie Horsie

Noah was able to sort the big & small horses & count how many there was in each set.

Charlie sorted the cows & horses into separate stables

Corey, Kailee & Daniel coloured on the horse pictures.
